Alex graduated from Simon University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and obtained his law degree in 2017 at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia.
Alex is a passionate advocate. He understands that our firm’s clients are going through some of the most stressful events in their lives and that it is during this time that committed and effective legal representation is most valuable. Alex knows that, after a family separates, too often one side is completely drowned out by the other. He always ensures that his client’s voice is heard at every stage of the process.
Having earned the Dean’s List award in law school, Alex has developed an efficient workflow of identifying the problem, gathering evidence, and relaying to his clients the most effective options for the best, most cost-effective resolution. He is analytical and appreciates precision in his practice. He is comfortable diving into dense financial documentation, tax returns, and business records, but he also knows when to rely on the financial professionals who can help find the best deal for you available. Both a tech-savvy and a pragmatic lawyer, Alex knows how to use the tools at his disposal to create a clear picture for both his clients and for the court.
Alex recognizes that using a lawyer in your legal separation can be an expensive ordeal. He is keenly aware of the cost of every step he takes in assisting you, and is adept at finding creative solutions that can help you avoid a path that could lead to greater expense. However, if a resolution cannot be brokered through negotiation or mediation, Alex has the experience and the drive to represent you in Provincial or Supreme Court.
In his spare time, Alex enjoys the typical Vancouver activities: hiking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. Most days he can be found consuming a good book, movie, game, or the latest UFC pay-per-view.
