I received my BA in Political Science from Simon Fraser University in 2009.
My passion for family law began following my first year studies of law at the University of Alberta. During that time, I was selected by the Civil Policy and Legislation Office at the former B.C. Ministry of Attorney General to assist in the drafting of the new Family Law Act. In this position, I worked intimately with the drafters to develop the legislative scheme used to resolve the often complex family law disputes in British Columbia. The following year, I began to work at Henderson Heinrichs as a summer law student, and truly enjoyed applying my theoretical knowledge to assist clients in successfully resolving their legal disputes.
After obtaining my Juris Doctor in 2013, I completed my legal articles at Miller Thomson, a national law firm, where I worked on a variety of civil and commercial litigation appearing both before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
It is because of my genuine desire to work closely with my clients that I have decided to dedicate my legal practice exclusively to family law. I am committed to applying my specialized knowledge and practical skills to provide my clients with effective and creative solutions to resolve their legal disputes.
